 in inequality of income\, wealth\, life expectancy\, and health have grown
 \, both among scholars and in the media. Besides work on “traditional”
  topics\, there has also emerged a large body of literature on how carbon 
 pricing may affect inequality.\nUnder the headline Inequality and Taxation
 \, FinanzArchiv/European Journal of Public Finance and the Max Planck Inst
 itute for Tax Law and Public Finance invite submissions for a conference t
 o be held on 27–28 October 2026 in Berlin\, Harnack-Haus. \nContributi
 ons may address\, for example\, topics such as:\n·       The incide
 nce of capital taxation\n·       Redistributive impacts and efficie
 ncy effects of wealth and inheritance taxes\n·       Redistribution
 al effects of carbon pricing\n·       Inequality and aggressive tar
 iff policies\n·       Taxing high-net-worth individuals\nWe welcome
  empirical and theoretical papers\, as well as policy-oriented contributio
 ns on Fiscal Policy in Action. FinanzArchiv/European Journal of Public Fi
 nance follows a policy of giving a fair chance to empirical papers reporti
 ng insignificant results.  \nThe submission deadline is on the 15th of Ju
